Thomas Egan
Tom Egan is the technical founder of Axya Medical and inventor of Axya's core technology. Prior to Axya, Mr. Egan provided engineering and product development consulting services to 3M Healthcare, Gillette, Pfizer, C. R. Bard, the U. S. Navy and others. He is the inventor of 14 issued patents and numerous pending applications. Previously Mr. Egan has held engineering positions with Rockwell International, 3M and others. He was the principal investigator on two grants from the National Institutes of Health and is the author of several technical publications. Mr. Egan received a BS with distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts.
